Oracle to Open its 1st 'Digi Hub' in Asia's Pacific region in Bengaluru-India
BENGALURU: Oracle has launched its first Digital Hub in Asia Pacific in the IT capital of India.

The company plans to launch four another hubs in APAC market, including Singapore, Seoul, Sydney and Beijing. 

The company had launched its first digit hub in Dublin, last year.

 Oracle's Digital Hubs will provide a complete suite of cloud applications, platform, and infrastructure services as both standalone services and as bundles.



The new facility will cater the midsize market in the cloud economy who are yet to embrace cloud. 

Using the latest collaboration tools, techniques and technologies, the company aims to enhance the customer experience.

The hub will house Oracle's new digital sales team and focus on helping more midsize organisations transition to the cloud quickly and easily.

Oracle to set up cloud data centres in India


vice president and regional managing director, Oracle India, said, "We aim to address over 51 million SMBs in India, many of whom haven't worked with Oracle or used cloud before. The increased choice in cloud technology will help accelerate SMB's ability to innovate and grow more quickly."

SL Kumar added that India remains Oracle's one of the top cloud markets which saw its total cloud revenue surge to $1.36 billion in the fourth quarter ended May 31. The Digital Hub's work with SMBs will also collaborate with its Startup Cloud Accelerator Programme which will be expanded locations across the globe, including opening two new centres in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai to provide mentorship and technology resources to local startups.

The company which currently employs 38,000 people in India, has hired 200 employees to serve SMBs from the Digital Hub.
